Want to help the Environment? Want to save money
on your power bill? AES Technology is
pleased to be involved in the
EnviroSaver Program.

With growing talk of global warming and the rising cost of living, we're becoming more aware of the environmental and economic price we pay for our daily lives.

While the global challenges may seem outside our control, you can have a positive impact at the local level. Simple changes, like installing energy efficient fittings and appliances, can make a big difference to the planet and to your wallet.

If we all make a small reduction to the energy we consume, then the sum of our actions will make a big difference to the world we live in.

The Enviro Saver Program is a free service offered to businesses and residents. Enviro Saver team members are assessors, trained to conduct energy and water assessments and to fit a range of efficient products.

To arrange for an Enviro Saver assessment in your home or business, just book online, or call Reg on 0410 627 329 or Stuart on 0412 930 635. We will take the time to provide you with all the information you need in one visit. Water saving shower heads and energy saving light bulbs are easy to install right there and then.

Q - Can I get a free showerhead if I'm on gas hot water?
A - unfortunately no. The program has been developed to provide a means to reduce the amount of greenhouse emissions. Electricity is the major cause of greenhouse gas due to it being created from burning coal. The program is funded from the burning of coal. The program is funded from the sale of carbon credits to the energy retailers and corporations and these carbon credits can only be collected when a water saving showerhead is fitted to homes using electric hot water systems.

Q - What if you don't like the type of showerheads on offer?
A - You may simply retain your existing showerhead and we can install a water saving flow restrictor, which achieves the same water and energy efficiency as a water saving showerhead.

Q - Can I choose the brightness of the bulbs?
A - Yes. When we visit your home we help you choose from 16 different types of energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs. These light bulbs are available in different brightness levels and wattage to suit your individual preferences for each room.

Q- What if I don't like the brightness of the energy saving light bulbs? Do you come back and change them?
A - Unfortunately no.   The program is designed to assist households and businesses save money and help the environment by reducing the level of energy usage and in-turn reduce greenhouse gas emissions. If we were to return to premises and change the light bulbs back, we would be in breach of the Greenhouse Friendly and NSW Government's Greenhouse Gas Abatement scheme initiatives and our accreditation for the programs.

Q - If I am not happy with the shower and it is not as good as my old one, will you come back and change it?
A - Unfortunately no. If we were to change the water saving showerhead, we would only be able to replace another 3 star-rated water efficient showerhead. The program is designed to assist households and businesses save money and help the environment by reducing the level of energy usage and in-turn reduce greenhouse gas emissions. If we were to return to the premises and change the showerhead back, we would be in breach of the Greenhouse Friendly and NSW Government's Greenhouse Gas Abatement scheme initiatives and our accreditation for the programs.

Q - Do I have to change my energy provider?
A - No not at all. However we can give you some advice on alternative sources of energy including "Green" or "Renewable" energy providers and at least give you a good place to start.

Q - Can you change down lights?
A -  Not at present. The available technology is too expensive to provide free as part of this program, however we can give you free advice on new alternatives in the market pace.

Q - I rent, can I still get it?
A - Yes you can. You just need to be the person responsible for the payment of the energy bill.
