Meet our principals.
Reg Dwyer.
Reg gained his ACT A grade electricians licence in 1968, working extensively in both the domestic and construction sector, he has wide ranging experience from provision of maintenance services for local real estate agents including L J Hooker Tuggeranong, to Electrical systems work on major project sites including the Australian National Gallery, High Court, and Medibank buildings.
Gaining additional qualifications including an Associate Diploma in Electronics Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Information Technology) led Reg to work in the IT field as a senior Technical member with the responsibility for system analysis, design, purchase, installation and maintenance of the IT Computer systems for the School of Geography and Oceanography and the Australian Defence Force Academy.
Establishing AES Technology in 2003, Reg returned to the Electrical Industry. Further training has equipped Reg with Clean Energy Council Accreditation for Grid Connect Photovoltaic Arrays and and ARCtic Licence allowing installation of wall hung airconditioners.
Stuart Leetham.
Stuart’s background is in Electronics and IT. Originally qualified with an Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Stuart worked at the ANU within the Research School of Physical Sciences providing electronic support for research projects. Moving to a company providing communications systems for the Department of Defence (DoD) as an Installation Team Leader, Stuart worked on installation and commissioning of a large scale Secure Communications Network.
Later he worked for the DoD in IT support, maintaining IT systems and a large Local Area Network. While at DoD he completed studies gaining his Graduate Diploma of Information Technology from the University of NSW (ADFA).
As a cofounder of AES Technology Stuart has worked to develop AES Technology’s position in the Green sector of the Electrical Industry. Identifying a niche in the market for LED lighting products that was not well supported by traditional lighting supplies, Stuart identified a supplier of quality and effective LED lights. Stuart also has Clean Energy Council Accreditation for Grid Connect Solar Arrays.
